Alan Mintz Fine Art

I was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and just recenty moved from Florida to Columbia,South Carolina.  I learned how to paint studying how-to books from hobby shops. My preferred subjects are landscapes and seascapes. I try to us color to capture the feeling of the place I paint. My most recent work has been influenced from living in Bay County, Florida where I enjoyed painting scenes of the beach and fishing boats as well as the crystal clear springs of the area.
